Don’t remember the exact day it happened but it was after I received tenure, any teachers dream. But at 26 years old I looked at the middle school building that taught me so much and thought, “This is it?” Everything seemed so confusing but one thing I knew was, I can’t spend the next 30 to 35 years driving to the same place. With my all my background only in the education field I packed my bags and left teaching. One thing I noticed once I left is that I would hear the same thing no matter where I was working, “I hate this job but I have to stay.”

After being out of education for a year I knew it was time for me to help others change their ideas of “have to” into “want to.”
